Our first luxury restaurant review is the newly opened Basque at Biba, located in West Palm Beach. Read our review and tell us about your experience in the comments below.
I had high expectations going into tonight’s dinner at Basque at Biba, especially with the executive chef originating from El Bulli, one of Spain’s most famous restaurants. Luckily, I was not disappointed.
As soon as you enter the outdoor dining space of the restaurant, you are transformed into Spain. The Spanish Guitar musician and the beautiful decorations help your worries of the evening disappear and allow you to focus on the company you are with. There is plenty of seating and lovely lighting is provided throughout.
The food is tapas style and everything we ordered was delicious. I would highly recommend the Dragonfruit Tuna Tartare (which we ended up ordering a second of), the Paella Negro, and the Mixto Meat Board.

The most interesting part of the restaurant is that the food is all made in a food truck! When I initially mentioned this to my fiancé, he did not have high expectations. But the quality of the food, and the prices… scream nothing of a food truck.

We took our time eating and didn’t realize it had past 10:00 PM, when the restaurant closes. However, there was no sign of rushing us out. The staff continued to ask if we need anything and made us feel welcomed until the end. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
